Background: We have officially removed the old (freely available) eGym Fitness app from the market and replaced it with the new Branded Member App (your club app). By the end of August this year, we will also shut down all technical interfaces and cloud services that are still running in the background. 

What are the effects of the shutdown? 
Due to the complete shutdown of all services of the former eGym Fitness App, members who already use your current Branded Member App may lose connection to 3rd Party Fitness Tracker providers such as Polar, Fitbit, Withings and Runkeeper and the workouts and body measurements tracked with them may no longer appear in the Club App. 

How can your members react?
In order for your members to continue receiving their training results from 3rd Party Fitness Trackers in your club app, they will need to reconnect. To do this, simply navigate to Profile > Connected Apps and re-enable the connection.

Note: A connection to Polar is currently not possible. We already informed you about this in Q3-2023. 

Our recommendation for your member communication:
To proactively notify your members of the potential connection issue, we recommend that you use the push notification feature of your club app. You can create these via the admin portal of your club app:
